Neither Tygerberg Mountain Bike Club nor anyone associated with Tygerberg MTB Club will be responsible or liable for any injury sustained while riding the Tygerberg Mountain Bike trail Networks or elsewhere. Consult a Doctor before starting any exercise program. Mountain Biking is an extreme sport riders should be aware of the dangers. Failure to take precautions may result in injury or death. Always try and ride within your limits and in groups. Note: trails are situated on working farms and trail conditions are subject to change without notice or indication.
I fully understand that by joining Tygerberg MTB club I acknowledge that I have read and bind myself and/or my dependents to the indemnity clause below: By using any venue and/or property and/or facilities and/or trails of Tygerberg MTB Club, Hillcrest, D’Aria, Nitida, Contermanskloof, Meerendal any other land owners, the City of Cape Town, any individual or agent or any person or institution, I agree that I shall have no claim whatsoever against Tygerberg MTB Club, Hillcrest, D’Aria, Nitida, Contermanskloof, Meerendal any other land owners, the City of Cape Town, any individual or agent or any person or institution of whatever nature, in respect of any injury, loss or damage of whatsoever nature which I may suffer as a result of, or arising out of, whether directly or indirectly, my using of this venue and/or property and/or facilities and/or trails, including my arrival thereat and departure thereof , however such loss or damage may arise and regardless of whether or not same shall have been caused directly or indirectly by negligence albeit gross, of one or more of all of the aforementioned parties. I also accept that the aforementioned parties shall accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, howsoever caused, to any person while on the premises or route or while utilizing the facilities thereon, as well as in respect of any loss or damage to property, howsoever caused, suffered by any person while on the premises or route or while utilizing the facilities thereof.
Fees will only be refunded in the explicit event of an incorrect deposit/payment to the club, payment error or duplication. No other circumstances for refunds will be considered.
The refund will be done by electronic means only, upon bank-verified confirmation of account details of the individual/beneficiary.
No membership fee will be refunded after the membership board was issued and collected by the member.
I agree that:
I will display my bike board at all times in the required fashion, clearly visible on my handle bars
I will not take non-members on members only sections
I will adhere to the constitution and rules as set out by the Tygerberg Mountain Bike Club.
I will not modify my bike board in any way, Modification of a bike board will be considered a punishable offense.
I will not litter or smoke on the trails.
I will only ride the trail network from sunrise to sunset except for officially sanctioned Night rides.
I will enter their correct details into the system including, name, surname, address and ID number should I purchase a membership for another individual.
I will ensure that my details are updated on the Tygerberg MTB website to reflect my latest address and contact numbers.
I acknowledge and understand that my assigned bike board is for sole use for the member it is linked to and that the board may not be transferred to other.
