I fully understand that by joining Tygerberg MTB club I acknowledge that I have read and bind myself and/or my dependents to the indemnity clause below: By using any venue and/or property and/or facilities and/or trails of Tygerberg MTB Club, Hillcrest, D’Aria, Nitida, Contermanskloof, Meerendal any other land owners, the City of Cape Town, any individual or agent or any person or institution, I agree that I shall have no claim whatsoever against Tygerberg MTB Club, Hillcrest, D’Aria, Nitida, Contermanskloof, Meerendal any other land owners, the City of Cape Town, any individual or agent or any person or institution of whatever nature, in respect of any injury, loss or damage of whatsoever nature which I may suffer as a result of, or arising out of, whether directly or indirectly, my using of this venue and/or property and/or facilities and/or trails, including my arrival thereat and departure thereof , however such loss or damage may arise and regardless of whether or not same shall have been caused directly or indirectly by negligence albeit gross, of one or more of all of the aforementioned parties. I also accept that the aforementioned parties shall accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, howsoever caused, to any person while on the premises or route or while utilizing the facilities thereon, as well as in respect of any loss or damage to property, howsoever caused, suffered by any person while on the premises or route or while utilizing the facilities thereof.
I agree that:
I will display my bike board at all times in the required fashion, clearly visible on my handle bars
I will not take non-members on members only sections
I will adhere to the constitution and rules as set out by the Tygerberg Mountain Bike Club.
I will not modify my bike board in any way, Modification of a bike board will be considered a punishable offense.
I will not litter or smoke on the trails.
I will only ride the trail network from sunrise to sunset except for officially sanctioned Night rides.
I will enter their correct details into the system including, name, surname, address and ID number should I purchase a membership for another individual.
I will ensure that my details are updated on the Tygerberg MTB website to reflect my latest address and contact numbers.
I acknowledge and understand that my assigned bike board is for sole use for the member it is linked to and that the board may not be transferred to other.
From time to time it may possible to become involved in or subscribe to future events, promotions, competitions, prize draws or other goods and services through the Page to which additional terms and conditions may be applicable. This page is not meant to be an official communication channel for TMTB club, but rather a forum for social engagement for club members. We will however in conjunction with our other communication channels update this page with relevant club information events and content.
The aim of this page is create social connectivity between club members and to help grow the sport as a whole . The committee reserves the right to remove anybody from this page at their sole discretion without reason and at any time. With or without any explanation.
User Conduct and User Content
You agree that when accessing, using and/or posting or uploading any content or materials of any kind to the Page, You will
(a) not use the Page in any improper or unlawful manner or in breach of any legislation or licence that applies to You;
(b) not harass others or disclose personal information about others that could amount to harassment;
(c) not submit, publish, post, upload, store, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, offensive, obscene, indecent, harmful, confidential, hateful, threatening or otherwise illegal or objectionable material or information;
(d) not submit, post or upload files that contain software or other material the intellectual property rights in which are owned by any third party or which are protected by rights of privacy or publicity of any third party without having received all necessary consents;
(e) not upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other software or programs that may interfere with or damage the operation of the Page or any other computer;
(f) not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself in any way;
(g) not promote any activity that is illegal;
(h) not use software to harvest information from the Page;
(i) not submit any material which is prohibited by any applicable data protection or privacy legislation;
(j) only upload or submit material to the Page which either You own or which You have the permission of the owner of that material to submit; or
(l) Social media is an open forum for members and non-members alike. This is not a medium for conflict resolution or lodging complaints.

If you violate this you will be asked to appear in front of the committee for a hearing and may have your membership revoked.
Without limiting any of the foregoing, You also agree to abide to the Facebook Code of Conduct. You agree that You shall be solely responsible for all content, information or materials of whatever nature or medium that You submit, post, upload, publish or display on or through the Page or transmit to or share with other users (“User Content”) and You warrant and undertake that You own the intellectual property rights in and to all User Content or that You are otherwise entitled to submit the same to the Page.
You acknowledge and agree that We may, but are not obligated to, monitor the content (including the User Content) on the Page and may delete or remove from the Page immediately without notice any User Content or any other content of whatever nature, for any or no reason, including without limitation, if such content in Our absolute discretion:

Tygerberg Mountain Bike Club is the biggest mountain bike club in South Africa, we aim to advance the sport of Mountain Biking in all disciplines. We focus on youth and community upliftment.

For this purpose, we will collect contact details including your name, contact details, ID number. In the event of a medical emergency, the club keeps members medical aid details and emergency contact details on file.

Website usage information may be collected using “cookies” which allows us to collect standard internet visitor usage information.
The newsletter sign-up is voluntary and your details can be removed at any time by clicking HERE. Or unsubscribing directly at the bottom of every newsletter.
