There are four primary cycling routes at Meerendal. The Yellow , Green, Short Blue and Full Blue (which includes the Dorstberg climb).

The new trail that finishes off your Meerendal ride and experience in fine style that is guaranteed to leave an everlasting smile on your face. This little gem flows all the way down next to the main entrance road and has a combination of flow, small tables, doubles and other fun features that everyone can ride and have maximum fun whilst doing so.

An old favourite named after one of South Africa’s favourite mountain biking sons, this trail has it all, including a challenging little climb to begin with, a rhythm middle section and a wonderful newly rebuilt fun trail, next to the gully, to finish off with. Oodles of fun to be had on this trail!

The brand new Dorstberg loop now starts at the top of the Stairway to Heaven climb and takes you to the top of Dorstberg via the old descent, which has been revamped into a wonderful flowing single-track climb, instead of the difficult and tough lump up the old dirt road. Once at the top, you will be able to fly back down via the new hand-crafted fun trail that is fast, furious and so much fun for all, which finishes back down at the bench where it all started!

A seriously good flow section that provides the link between the new Dorstberg descent and the Sauser Sprint finish that, in essence now provides you with a descent all the way from the top of Dorstberg to the trail entrance gate, should you so want!
